It should be every womans investment piece for their winter wardrobe. Apparantly statement coats are the way forward this season. Remember, you will be wearing it A LOT so it is important to get it right. Bright coats will lift your dark winter wardrobe, black coats should be all about the detail – panels, lace, pleats, belts.
Kookai have a gorgeous suede with knit sleeve coat for €125 in dark navy with black. If you are a fan of puffa coats Zara have a great chocolate brown one that’s really fitted with a belt around the waist giving you great shape. Both are certainly worth a look.

Mango have a beautiful coat, bang on the current military trend. Costs €130 and is available in black or red and is very fitted. Ding Dong (as Gok would say!).
I am a coat addict! my favourite piece of clothing, next being shoes..have at least 50, counted them.. I am after one in French Connection at the moment,a military style one
It’s great this season because there doesn’t seem to be any certain type that’s in which leaves room for all sorts of crazy ideas! Kookai are my fav this year but more so for casual jackets. I got a short leather kind of aviator style jacket there last month. Now I’m battling the mental issue of wearing an animal!
