Waxing too painful? Skin very sensitive? You need to give Threading a go!
I used to squeal my way through an eyebrow wax now I opt for threading. It’s less painful than waxing although it’s still not something I look forward to!
Professionally speaking, it lasts longer than waxing as it pulls each hair out from the root. Waxing can snap some of the hairs leaving them to grow back quicker. You won’t be left with a red strip for the day so you can go back to the office. It’s also great if you are sensitive to products as it doesn’t involve anything other than a piece of cotton thread. It takes the same amount of time as a wax and is great for any facial hair removal. As a therapist I recommend everyone to try it out and most of my clients don’t go back to waxing.

Hey, has anyone out there had this done? Is it painful? Does it take long? Must take forever if they are all done individually? Is it expensive? sorry for all the questions! My eyebrows are quite light so its really hard to get the lil ones with a tweezers!!

Hi Carly, I’ve had it done and it’s not exactly pleasent but it’s better than waxing. It should only take 10/15mins & gives a great result. It’s worth trying it out. Hi!im a therapist and i actually do threading.I would really recommend it,especially for people with sensitive skin. It doesnt leave you skin roaring red as with waxing.You dont need to leave a break of 24 hrs before putting products on your skin.The hair doesnt grow back as quick.Its slower than waxing but faster than tweezing as it grabs a few hairs at a time.And your skin will be much less prone to wrinkling,especially around the eye area, as you dont have the same pulling on the skin as you would with waxing. What more can i say? Try it for yourself and see!
Anyone ever had threading done on their face??? Chin and bottoms of face quite bad with blond hairs!
Threading is great for the face as it doesn’t leave redness, it’s also less painful than waxing!! Defo recommend it
