I promise this is the last word I’ll say about threading. It just wasn’t fair to sit on this information!
Neelu (threading guru) has just opened a Threading Bar on the ground floor of Arnott’s. They will be offering brow re-shapes, lip and chin threads. There’s a ‘no appointment necessary’ policy but if you want to phone ahead call 01 2806742.
They are charging €18 for a brow thread and €18 for a lip thread also. As always, shop around to see what other salons are charging. Neelu informs me she is selling the ‘Neelu’s Eye Brow Power Kit’ for €49.95!
I have been hunting high and low for an eyebrow threading salon in the country and horray found this by chance by asking a girl at the make up counter and there is was around the corner.
I have been to london twice since feb and have had my eyebrows threaded there and was delighted to get this done in dublin and im from sligo.
The lady was great with the advice and informed me that the last person who did my eyebrows took way too much off and i needed new growth, now i hadnt noticed but when i really looked i could see she was correct.
She has been doing this for twenty three years and said just because a place does threadding does not mean they know how to do it correctly as all faces are different and the same brow design does not suit everyone.
Im thilled to have found here, i will be going back in six weeks of not less again and very happy with the service and for €18 its pretty good
Yes, I’ve heard she is really good. She also sold a brow shaping kit which I’m sure you can still get but don’t think it would be nearly as good as going to a pro..
I dont know what the fuss about her but I found her horrible..after reading all the “good reviews” about her,i decided to go to arnotts and have my eyebrows cleaned up..she was unfriendly and did not accept my honesty when I said that she did not clean up as I requested but she took more away…on top of that,she intentionally took a tweezer and pinch my inner corner of my left eyes..after she did my left eyes,she just walked away and let her assistant to deal with me and my unhappiness!!!she screwed the shape of my eyebrows with a bloody price of 18euros!!!rip off.. I have mine well done in the US for only 6USD with so much more professionalism and friendliness. I dont recommend her at all!!!
