Just when you think technology might have gone a little too far it surpasses itself and invents… yes of course you guessed it… a dress that flashes to tell you when your phone is ringing!
Ok, so it is just a prototype but British fashion student Georgie Davies is now working with Sony Ericsson to eventually have the dress connected to the wearer’s phone by Bluetooth wireless technology. The young designer said “when you’re in a pub or a bar, you can never, ever hear your phone”… personally I like to think I’m just having too much of a good time to answer the bloody thing!!
Mind you having Maria Sharapova modelling your dresses sure will boost your sales figures! I’m not one hundred per cent sold on the idea though and think we will be waiting for quite some time for them to hit the shops. I do reckon that it could be a big seller for teenage girls though.
